The SSI Scuba Experience Program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of an instructor in our purpose built training pool before moving on to enjoy an amazing dive site.
When you participate in a Scuba Experience program, you'll discover excitement and adventure - freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!
Scuba Diving Hire equipment
We will begin your scuba experience by fitting you with our custom made hire gear making sure everything is the correct fit and comfortable to wear.
This includes:
- 6mm wetsuit & hood
- Mask & snorkel
- Fins
- Weight belt
- Bouyancy Compensation Device
- Tank
- Regulators
The beginning of your underwater adventure!
Once fitted with your scuba diving equipment, we will take you one on one with our highly qualified instructors to our in house pool to get you comfortable and teach you necessary skills for a safe and enjoyable adventure.
Once confident,we will take you on board Nemo, our purpose built dive boat to the best marnine park in victoria, Popes Eye. You will be guided with your instructor down to 12m on your very first experience of a whole new world.

With bountiful fish, a vast array of marine life and home to our sea birds the ganett it's no wonder Pope's Eye is the best marine park in Victoria. Clear blue water, sunny skies, even the odd pod of dolphins and a resident seal are some of the things that you might encounter whilst visiting this marine park.
